Gemini can now take a circled map area as context for your question.
The Gemini app on Android and iOS now has a Map tool that attaches an area you choose to your prompt.
Open Map from the tool carousel, move the circle over an area, tap Explore this area, then type your question.
The Map tool is not available on the web or on tablets yet.
In Google app beta 17.63, typing @ instead of / opens your skills and connectors. Skills launch Oct. 13.
Map context makes follow-up questions easier. Try it on a neighborhood you know before trusting it somewhere new.
