The OnePlus 16 launches Oct. 12 in China with a 200MP camera. Americans will have to import it.
OnePlus confirmed the OnePlus 16 launches October 12 in China, its first flagship since leaving North America and Europe.
It packs a Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, a 185Hz display and a 200MP main camera with a 50MP 3x telephoto.
Android Headlines reports a 9,000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, up from 7,300mAh on the OnePlus 15.
OnePlus no longer launches phones in the U.S., so buyers must import one, with no local warranty and uncertain carrier support.
Existing U.S. owners keep updates and warranty. Buyers waiting for a OnePlus 16 should look at the Galaxy S26 or Pixel 11.
