Boox's 58-gram Picco snaps onto your phone for distraction-free reading. Here's what to know.
Boox opened pre-orders for the Picco, a credit-card-sized E Ink reader that snaps onto your phone with a magnetic case.
A 3.97-inch, 480 x 800 E Ink touchscreen at 235 ppi, with a front light you can make warmer.
Unlike most Boox devices, it has no Play Store. Load EPUB and other files via the app, USB-C or microSD.
It weighs 58 grams, has a 920mAh battery and 16GB of storage, and costs $99.99, or $109.99 from the U.S. warehouse.
Great for DRM-free readers who want to scroll less. Kindle loyalists should stick with a regular e-reader.
