A fix for carsickness

Android 17's Motion Assist shows moving dots on your screen edges that match your car's motion, easing that queasy feeling.

Why it helps

Carsickness comes from your eyes and inner ear disagreeing. The dots give your eyes a cue that matches what you feel.

Where to find it

Open Settings, tap your profile, then All services. Under Personal and device safety, tap Motion Assist.

04 / 05

Use both triggers

Turn on Start in a moving vehicle and add the Quick Settings tile, since auto detection can miss some trips.

Tune it, then test it

Adjust opacity, color and shape so the dots stay subtle. It is free and takes two minutes to set up.
