Google confirms a fix for Android Auto failures on Galaxy phones running One UI 9. Here's what to do.
After the One UI 9 update, some Galaxy owners saw Android Auto fail to launch, drop mid-drive or stutter.
Failures happened over USB and wireless. Galaxy S24 Ultra, A55 5G and S26 owners reported problems.
Google told 9to5Google that a fix has been rolled out. You don't need to wait for a Samsung update.
Update Android Auto and Google Play services, restart, then re-pair your car. Clear the app cache if it still fails.
Rollouts are gradual. Skip the factory reset and new cables. If it still fails after a week, send feedback.
