Android 10 phones are being told Android Auto will stop working soon, with no date attached.
Drivers on Android 10 phones are seeing a message that Android Auto will soon stop working on their phone.
Reports name the Galaxy S9, Galaxy Note 9 and Xperia XZ2 Compact. Google likely plans an Android 11 minimum.
Its help page still lists Android 9 for wired Android Auto, and it didn't answer 9to5Google's request for comment.
Android 10 shipped in September 2019, so dropping it is reasonable. Doing it with no date or link is not.
Publish a cutoff date, explain what stop working actually means and link the warning to a support page.
