Amazon's new Alexa Tablet 8, 11 and 12 Pro run Android with full Google Play access and start at $229.99.
Amazon announced three Alexa Tablets on October 8, and for the first time they ship with full Google Play Store access.
The Alexa Tablet 8, Tablet 11 and Tablet 12 Pro start at $229.99, $329.99 and $499.99. U.S. shipping starts October 14.
It has a 12-inch 120Hz screen, a Dimensity 8400 chip and up to 16 hours of video, plus a $149.99 keyboard and $89.99 pen.
A custom launcher puts Alexa+ up front. On-Screen Intelligence can read your screen, but it is off by default.
The $329.99 Tablet 11 is the sweet spot. Lock-screen ads cost $20 to remove, and Amazon hasn't promised an update schedule.
